Figured out my fence posts were only 18 inches deep after my dog just walked through one
I was bracing posts with a level on the 4 foot mark and calling it good, turns out code here in Ohio wants them down 3 feet minimum. My neighbor watched the whole thing happen from his porch and didn't say a word until after, which honestly stung more than the collapse. Anyone else learn post depth the hard way or am I the only one who skipped that part of the instructions?
