Update: Lost a full day on the Timberline Trail because of a bad map

Honestly, I bought a guidebook for $25 that had the wrong mileage between campsites. Ended up hiking 5 extra miles in the dark looking for a spot that wasn't there. Anyone know a good GPS app for the Cascades?

Ugh, that's the worst. It feels like everything is just slightly wrong now. My coffee maker's instructions lied about the water line, a recipe blog said "quick 30 minute prep" that took an hour, and now your map is fiction. It's death by a thousand tiny inaccuracies. No wonder we all just default to checking three different sources before we believe anything.
