Walked into a Jiffy Lube in Reno and counted 4 guys doing oil changes without a torque wrench on the drain plug
I was killing time during a tire rotation down on South Virginia Street and just watched the bay for a bit. Every single drain plug got zipped back on with a impact gun and nobody checked spec, which is how you end up with a stripped pan and a $600 repair. I get that flat rate pushes speed, but is this just normal everywhere now or did I happen to catch a bad day at that spot?
