That $350 scan tool turned out to be worth every penny
Honestly, I was dead set against dropping cash on a fancy Autel scanner, figured my old code reader was fine. Then last Tuesday in Phoenix, a 2018 F-150 kept throwing a phantom misfire and I burned 2 hours guessing. Bought a used MaxiCOM MK808 off eBay for $350 and it pinpointed a bad injector driver in the PCM right away. Anyone else finally cave on a bi-directional tool after chasing a ghost like that?
