Spent 4 hours chasing a no-start on a 2011 Corolla only to find a blown 10 amp fuse
Had a customer bring in a 2011 Corolla last Tuesday that cranked fine but would not fire. I checked fuel pressure, spark at all four coils, and even swapped the cam sensor with a known good one. After about 4 hours of testing I was ready to start pulling the dash apart looking for a wiring fault. Turns out the 10 amp fuse for the ignition circuit looked fine from the top but had a tiny hairline crack you could only see under a flashlight at an angle. I felt like a total idiot. Now I pull every fuse and test them with a meter before I touch anything else on a no-start. Anyone else got a fuse story that made you want to throw your meter across the shop?
