One brake job turned into four, and I actually left at 5 for once
Every bay opened up at once Tuesday, so I knocked out a caliper, two rotors, and a wheel bearing before lunch. First time in weeks the whole crew clocked out on time, so how do you all handle the days when the work just flows like that?
Tbh I kinda see it the other way. Those days where everything just clicks are nice but they're also the ones that mess with you, because you start expecting every Tuesday to go like that and then the next one slaps you in the face with a seized bolt and a comeback. Honestly I'd rather have the steady grind where you know what you're getting than the random perfect day that makes the normal days feel worse. The flow days are cool, sure, but chasing them is how you end up frustrated when the work does what work always does.
