Looked at my old work log and realized I've done over 10,000 oil changes
I was cleaning out my toolbox and found a paper log from my first year at the shop. I started adding up the numbers from my digital records since then. It hit me that I've done that basic job more than ten thousand times. It's wild to think about all the cars and faces that have come through the bay. Anyone else ever stop and count something like that?

That's a crazy number. Makes me think of all the pizza boxes I've thrown out over the years. Probably a small mountain by now.

Honestly that mountain of boxes is a real problem though. Tbh most pizza boxes can't even be recycled because of the grease. So all that cardboard just piles up in landfills forever. It's kind of depressing when you stop and picture it. We really need to find a better way to package takeout food.
