Just dropped $800 on a new Milwaukee M18 high torque impact and it's a game changer for suspension work.

I was fighting with a seized control arm bolt on a Silverado for over an hour with my old gun. The Milwaukee zipped it off in about three seconds. The cost hurt at first, but it saved me a ton of time and frustration on that one job alone. Anyone have a go-to tool that seemed pricey but paid for itself fast?

My old 1/2 inch Earthquake from Harbor Freight cost me $120. It's taken off every truck bolt I've thrown at it for five years now.

Wait, you spent an hour on one bolt? That's brutal. My old man would have had the torch out after ten minutes. I guess that's why you drop the cash on the good stuff.

Yeah, the torch is always the last resort for me. Once you start cooking stuff, you're buying new parts anyway. That hour was all about patience and a whole lot of penetrating oil. Sometimes the cheap stuff just welds itself in place.
