I used to fight with every single stuck caliper bolt, but after a job in Tucson last summer where I snapped two, I finally bought an induction heater.

Now I just heat the bracket for 30 seconds and they come out smooth every time, saving me at least an hour of cussing per brake job, so what's your go-to trick for frozen hardware?

Tucson heat taught me the same lesson.

Yeah, that desert heat works better than any spray can.

Ever try the candle wax trick? Like after you heat it, touch a plain candle to the threads. The wax gets sucked right in and breaks the rust seal. I saw an old timer do it on a tractor brake line fitting that was totally seized. It sounds nuts but it works when you're out of penetrating oil.
