Customer brought in a 1999 Civic with a 'mystery smell' - found a half-eaten burrito under the back seat from 2018
Dude brought his Civic in last Tuesday complaining about a weird sour smell that got worse in summer. I popped the rear seat cushion and there it was, a dried out bean and cheese burrito wedged under the seat frame. Took me 45 minutes to scrape out the mess and the whole car smelled like a taco gone wrong. My coworker dared me to touch it and I almost gagged. Has anyone else found something that old or nastier in a customer's car?

Did you see that viral post about the taxidermied squirrel someone found in an old Buick? I swear people are the wildest creatures on earth. A half-eaten burrito from 2018 is insane though, lol. I mean, how do you even lose a whole burrito under your seat and never find it? The smell must have been absolutely cursed after 6 years of baking in a hot car. I bet that burrito had its own ecosystem by then. Honestly, you deserve a raise for dealing with that biohazard.

oh man, you just reminded me of the time my uncle found a full container of potato salad under his passenger seat like... three years after he sold the car to a scrapyard. he said the smell was so bad the scrappers threatened to charge him extra for hazmat cleanup. a burrito is one thing, but a whole ecosystem in a sealed buick is another level of cursed.
