A random Tuesday last month turned into my best day in the shop all year

A random Tuesday last month turned into my best day in the shop all year. I was working on a 2012 F-150 that had been sitting for two weeks with a no-start issue, and I had already swapped the fuel pump and crank sensor. Turns out it was just a corroded ground wire behind the battery tray that I almost missed. Has anyone else spent hours chasing a ghost only to find something simple like that?

Oh man, I feel you on that corroded ground wire issue! Last month I spent three whole hours diagnosing a Chevy that would crank but not fire, replaced the ignition coil and everything, only to find it was a loose connector on the intake air temp sensor that I bumped while checking the air filter. It's always the dumbest little things that make you feel like a genius and a fool at the same time, isn't it?

Genius and a fool at the same time" hits hard lol. I once swapped a whole alternator for a loose belt.
