A 19 year old lube tech asked me why I still use a paper repair order, and I did not have a good answer

The kid isn't wrong to ask, but paper orders do a few things screens still can't match. A greasy thumb on a touchscreen doesn't work half as well as a pen, and you can't hand a tablet to the customer at the counter (well, you can, but good luck getting it back). Plus nothing ever crashes, needs a login, or loses a note when the wifi drops.
