Warning: that 2015 Camry rear quarter panel took me 4 days instead of 4 hours because of one hidden pinch weld
I used to swear by cutting and patching as the fast fix, but after fighting that seam in my Bay 3 booth for 4 days straight I'm now a full believer in pulling the dent first and saving the patch for last, so has anyone else run into a quarter panel that hid a pinch weld under the seam sealer and threw off their whole estimate?

That "one hidden pinch weld" line got me, my buddy hit the same thing on a Civic last year. He had it booked for a two day job and it turned into a full week because the seam sealer was hiding a weld right where he planned to cut. Now he pulls everything first too, way less surprise that way.
