Warning: My old infrared paint curing lamp just died mid-job
It was a 15 year old unit from a shop I bought out, and it quit halfway through a clear coat bake yesterday. Had to scramble with heat lamps and fans to avoid solvent pop. Anyone have a solid recommendation for a new IR system under $2k?

Speedheater is good but Honestly check the used market first. Got my last one for half price from a shop that was upgrading.

Check out the infrared systems from Speedheater. They've got a solid reputation for even heat distribution. Might be a bit of a stretch for your budget but worth looking into.

Hot take: Used market, absolutely.
Man, that's the worst kind of timing. Been there with gear giving up the ghost right in the middle of things, total panic mode. The used idea is solid, a lot of shops offload good stuff. If you go new, maybe look at the Speedheater stuff people mention, but really dig into reviews for anything in your price range. Some of the cheaper new ones can have real hot spots.
