Vent: That week where everything went right felt almost wrong

Last Tuesday I had a 2003 Civic come in with hail damage I was dreading, but it pulled out cleaner than anything I've done in 6 years. Then Thursday a guy paid cash for a full buff and wax I quoted at $450 and didn't even haggle. Has anyone else had a run of easy jobs that made you suspicious something was about to blow up?

man it's like the universe sets up these little traps of good luck to keep you off balance. i've noticed when stuff flows too easy for a couple days straight you start scanning for the disaster that's gotta be hiding around the corner. that's just how life works now, it's like the good times and bad times are on some weird see-saw and if one side gets too high the other is due. i just try to ride it out and not think too hard about it, you know, enjoy it while it lasts and figure the bad will come when it comes.
