Used to hate plastic filler. Changed my mind last month.
Always swore by metal glaze for everything. Then a 2018 Accord came in with weird low spots on the quarter panel. Tried Rage Gold on a whim. Cut way better than I expected and saved me an hour of sanding. Anyone else switch fillers and stick with it?

Nah, metal glaze still sands easier and won't let you down when you're in a hurry.

Oh man, totally. I keep a tub of metal glaze right by my wheel for exactly that reason. Last week I had a student popping in last minute needing to finish a mug for a birthday and metal glaze saved the whole thing. Just one fast sand and a quick dip and it came out perfect. No fussing around with three layers of clear coat or worrying about brush strokes. It's the workhorse glaze in my studio for sure.
