The painter at my shop said my primer coats looked like I was spraying pudding, so I dropped my fluid pressure
I had been running my primer at about 14 psi at the cap and getting orange peel on every panel, and the guy who has been spraying for 22 years pointed it out in front of everyone. He said the primer should lay down wet but not run, so I dropped to 9 psi, moved a bit faster, and the peel cleaned up on the next three jobs. Curious what psi you all run for primer versus base.
