Showerthought: Old timer at a shop in Tulsa asked me one question about a blend panel and it split the whole crew
I was spraying a blend on a rear door about 3 weeks ago when a guy I'd never met walked up and asked if I prepped past the body line or just up to it. I said up to it, and he just nodded and walked off without another word. Later that day two of the younger guys said that's the lazy way and you'll always see a halo under shop lights. The older guys backed him up and said chasing the whole panel wastes material and time on a car that's getting sold anyway. So which is it, do you blend to the break or run it full panel every time?
