Had to pick between a full quarter panel or a section repair on a '18 Silverado
The rocker and lower quarter were toast from salt. Boss wanted the whole panel, but I pushed to section just the lower 12 inches. We used a Wurth panel adhesive on the backside seam after welding. It cut the job time by almost a full day and the blend line is invisible. Anyone else find bosses are too quick to write for a full panel replacement?

That Wurth adhesive trick saved us a whole day on a similar job last month.

Honestly, that "saved a whole day" thing can be misleading. Sometimes those quick adhesive fixes fail down the line. I've seen jobs where a rushed bond gave out after a year, costing way more to redo the whole thing right. Taking the extra time for a proper mechanical fix is often cheaper in the long run. Speed isn't always the best goal.
