Bought a paint thickness gauge off some guy's truck
Paid $200 for a used Positector that turned out to be a fancy paperweight. Anyone else get burned buying tools from random guys at supply shops?

Whoa, wait, you knew there was a known issue with that model and still didn't test it before handing over the money? I mean, that's a pretty big oversight, especially if you had time to check it out first. Idk, seems like a rough lesson to learn the hard way.
