A painter in Reno called my feather-edge "muddy" and now I block sand way more
Had a guy named Sal walk my booth in Reno back in April and he ran his hand along a quarter panel I just sprayed. He said the transition was muddy and asked how many passes I did with 320 before primer. I was doing maybe two quick swipes and calling it good. Now I spend an extra 20 minutes per panel block sanding with a guide coat, and my peel and mapping issues mostly went away. What's your go-to grit for a blend edge that won't show a halo?
