Vent: my water heater died on a Sunday and I paid $1,850 to learn a lesson
Ngl, our 9 year old water heater started leaking in the garage last Sunday morning, and the emergency plumber in Marietta charged us $1,850 to swap it out same day. Tbh the real kicker was finding out a $60 expansion tank would've saved the old tank years ago. Has anyone else in the burbs had good luck with a tankless setup, or is it just a bigger bill waiting to happen?
$1850 for a Sunday call, that plumber must've seen you coming from a mile away lol. Tankless is cool til you find out the venting and gas line upgrade runs you another couple grand.
