That one week my whole cul-de-sac decided to repaint driveways

Tbh I thought it was just my neighbor Dave in the house at 4820 Maplecrest, but by Thursday three other folks on the loop had their own cans of that sealant stuff going. One guy used a roller, another had a sprayer that looked like it belonged to a farm, and somehow everyone ended up with those little paw prints from a stray cat walking through the wet paint. Now my driveway looks like a Jackson Pollock piece with cat tracks, and I'm wondering if I should just leave it as is or redo it Sunday. Has anyone else had a whole street copycat situation go sideways like this?
