My neighbor swore by pouring vinegar on his foundation every month
He said it keeps ants and termites away, been doing it for 20 years. I tried it for 6 months and now I got brown stains running down my brick and a dead patch of grass. Then a guy from the pest control company told me vinegar can actually attract termites because of the moisture. Anyone else get bad advice passed down as gospel in their neighborhood?

Well I'll be, I always thought vinegar was the safe option but this totally changed my mind.
