Unpopular opinion: The moon shots from the 2017 eclipse are way better than 2024

I used to think the 2024 eclipse photos were sharper until I looked back at my files from Carbondale, Illinois in 2017. That 2 minutes 40 seconds of totality gave me time to actually adjust my exposure for the corona. The 2024 one was over in 1 minute 20 seconds where I was standing. Am I the only one who prefers the longer totality frames over the crispness of modern sensors?

My buddy in Texas caught the 2024 one and bragged about his new mirrorless camera, then cried when he realized his 30-second clip had a cloud passing through at the worst possible moment.
