Finally got a clear shot of Andromeda after three straight weeks of clouds ruining my setup

Last Tuesday at 2AM the sky suddenly cleared up and I managed to grab 45 minutes of data before the moon came up and it was the first time I actually saw the dust lanes pop in my stacked image.

Three weeks of clouds sounds rough but 45 minutes isn't exactly a clear shot.

Agree completely, I had a similar thing happen last year where the clouds finally parted for maybe 30 minutes and I barely got a few shots before they rolled back in. It's frustrating when you wait that long and still have to rush.
