Appreciation post: the guy at the star party outside Tucson who told me to stop zooming in on Mars
He said I was chasing pixels instead of just looking at the whole disk, and honestly my best Mars shots since then came from backing way off. Anyone else get a tip at a star party that flipped how they shoot?
