My electric clipper stopped mid-groom on a nervous poodle yesterday
It was a 10-year-old Oster that just quit with no warning. Had to finish the whole trim with manual scissors. Anyone have a cordless brand that actually lasts through back-to-back dogs?

Osters are workhorses but 10 years is a solid run for any clipper. Check the motor brushes first before tossing it, sometimes they just need a $5 part swap.

Hey what's the average lifespan you guys see on these? @victor_carr25 I'm impressed you got a decade out of yours. My last clipper died on me mid-haircut, looked like I went a few rounds with a lawnmower.
