I finally got my tween a phone and now I'm torn
Half my friends say it's needed for safety and homework, the other half think it ruins childhood. What's your opinion on phone age limits?

Read an article recently that suggested the sweet spot might be around 13 to 15. The writer argued that by then, kids have more life experience to handle the social stuff online. But honestly, doesn't it depend more on the kid's maturity than their birthday? Some can handle it at 12, others maybe not until 16.
