Hot take: standing desks are overrated after my back pain experiment at the local library
I spent 3 months using the standing desk at the Manchester Public Library after my chiropractor suggested it for my lower back. By week 6, my knees were aching and I was leaning on one leg half the time. Turns out my issue was my office chair's lumbar support all along, not sitting vs standing. Has anyone else found a simple chair adjustment fixed what a fancy desk couldn't?

Three months of leaning on one leg like a flamingo and it turns out a chair was the problem the whole time. Guess we're all just paying for chiropractors' boats now.

@andrew_miller90 nailed it with the flamingo comment, that was me exactly. A cheap lumbar cushion from Amazon fixed my back way better than standing ever did.
