Heard two guys at a coffee shop argue about whether a hot dog is a sandwich, and now I can't pick a side
I was waiting for my latte at a place in Denver last Tuesday and these two dudes spent 15 minutes going at it over whether a taco counts as a sandwich if you fold the tortilla a certain way. One guy said it's about the structure (bread on both sides = sandwich) and the other said it's about the intent (if you call it a taco, it's a taco). I honestly walked away more confused than when I walked in, so what do you all think, does the name we give a food decide what it is, or does the physical form win?
