Finally visited the Franklin Institute in Philly after years of driving past it
Went there with my nephew last Saturday and the giant heart exhibit caught me off guard. I figured it would be kid stuff but the way they explain circulation actually made me think about my own habits differently. Has anyone else had a random museum visit change how you look at something ordinary in your life?

LOL the giant heart got me too. I walked through it and realized I've been treating my own heart like it's a rental car for 15 years. Now I can't eat a cheesesteak without hearing that blood pump sound effects in my head. Definitely didn't sign up for that kind of self awareness on a Saturday with my nephew.

Hate to be that guy, but check if your nephew is secretly recording you now - kids pick up on that new heart awareness and love to use it against you later.

I used to roll my eyes at people who said cheesesteaks were "literally destroying their heart," but now I'm side-eyeing my own order every time I add extra cheese whiz. It's like my brain finally connected the dots between what I eat and the actual organ doing all the work. The rental car analogy is too real though - I definitely treated mine like a beat-up minivan with a full tank of gas and no warranty.
