TIL a $25 windshield sun shade is worth it in Manchester
I always thought those foil shades were a scam until I parked facing west for 3 hours at the Mall of New Hampshire and came back to a steering wheel I could barely touch. My dash thermometer read 148 degrees before, and after putting one up it stayed under 90 on a 92 degree day. Has anyone else found a cheap fix that actually makes a difference in this summer heat?

Man, the foil ones work but they fall apart after one summer. I grabbed a cheap roll of Reflectix from Home Depot and cut it to fit my windshield, been going 4 years now. Cost me like 15 bucks and blocks way more heat than the store bought ones.
