Paid $75 for a 'guaranteed' moose tour, saw one deer instead
Booked this moose safari up near Lincoln last fall, they promised sightings or your money back. Spent 4 hours bouncing down logging roads at 6 AM, guide kept saying 'they're always right around the bend'. Finally saw a white-tailed deer and he tried to pass it off as a baby moose. When I asked for the refund he pointed to fine print about 'wildlife behavior'. Anyone else get burned by these wildlife tour outfits, or know a spot where moose actually show up on your own?

Baby moose" is the wildest stretch I've ever heard, that's like calling a Chihuahua a baby wolf.
