Rant: That time I ruined dinner by not reading the baking soda label
I was making cookies in my Brooklyn apartment last Tuesday and grabbed what I thought was baking soda from the pantry. Turns out it was baking powder all along, my cookies spread into one giant flat disc on the pan. Has anyone else mixed them up and ended up with a mess?

Oh come on, it's cookies not a souffle. You still got a giant cookie out of it, right? That's basically a win in my book.
