My sister told me I was salting my pasta water wrong and she was right

For years I just tossed a pinch of salt in the water and called it good. She watched me cook last Tuesday and said I needed way more, like a big handful. I tried it her way with a full tablespoon for a pound of spaghetti and the pasta actually tasted seasoned for once, not bland. Now I put way more salt in the water than feels right and it makes a real difference. Anyone else get called out by a family member for a dumb mistake you made forever?

Wait, wait, wait. Your mom YELLED at you for not seasoning your water? That's... that's a whole other level. I can't imagine getting yelled at over pasta water. My sister just gave me this look, like I'd committed some kind of culinary crime. She didn't even say anything at first, just stared at my pot with this disappointed expression. But a full on yell? That must have been intense. I'd probably just shrink into the floor if someone raised their voice at me over salt.
