My neighbor's trick with leftover pasta water totally changed how I sauce things
Last Tuesday my neighbor Maria from down the hall saw me draining spaghetti into the sink and looked horrified. She said she always keeps a mug of that starchy water to stir into the sauce, makes it cling better and stretch further. I tried it that night with my jarred marinara and a half pound of ground beef, honestly saved me from adding a whole extra jar. Anyone else got a cheap pasta trick that makes a meal go further?
