My neighbor's folding table trick for cooling cookies still bugs me
Last summer in Phoenix, my neighbor Marlene saw me struggling with hot cookie sheets and no counter space, and she just flipped her folding table upside down over the sink, you know, the plastic one with the legs folded. She said, "airflow underneath means they cool in half the time, honey," and honestly it worked better than any wire rack I own. My kitchen is tiny, like 8 feet of counter total, so this hack saved me when I was baking for a yard sale fundraiser. Has anyone else used a weird non-cooking item as a cooling surface, or am I just late to this party?

Folding table upside down sounds like a trap for melted plastic.
