My $3 garlic press took me 45 minutes to figure out how to clean
I bought this cheap garlic press from the dollar store and it worked great for like two weeks. Then I tried to clean it and realized the little holes are basically impossible to scrub out unless you have a toothpick handy. I spent 45 minutes digging dried garlic skin out of each hole while my dinner got cold on the counter. Ended up just throwing it in the dishwasher and hoping for the best. Anyone else have a kitchen tool that is way harder to clean than to use?

Honestly I just started running mine under hot water right after using it and scrubbing it with an old toothbrush before anything dries. The minute it gets sticky or crusty it's game over.

Wait is it really that bad if it dries on there?
