Hit 200 jars of jam canned, way more than I ever planned

I started canning last summer just to use up a giant box of peaches my neighbor gave me. Somehow that turned into a whole thing and I just counted my jars from this year, 200 exactly. That includes strawberry, peach, and a weird plum ginger one that actually came out good. The cool part is I finally got my water bath timing down without second guessing myself every batch. I use a simple pot and a jar lifter, no fancy pressure canner or anything. Has anyone else accidentally turned a small hobby into a whole pantry situation?

Okay but is 200 jars actually a good thing or are you just stockpiling stuff youll never eat? I mean I get the satisfaction of nailing the timing and all that, but at some point jam goes bad even canned and then youre just throwing out peaches you couldve given away fresh. My aunt did this with pickles and we were still eating them 4 years later, not because they were good but because she refused to admit she overdid it. Maybe youre better off just giving half of those jars to neighbors or the food bank before they sit there mocking you from the shelf. The real win would be knowing when to stop, not hitting some round number for the gram.
