Finally got my rice game down after 6 months of trial and error

Been making mushy rice for way too long. Started measuring by knuckle depth instead of cups and its a game changer. Stuck with my same $15 pot too. Anyone else have a simple fix like that totally change a dish?

Six months is a solid chunk of time to wrestle with rice, and I'm glad you stuck it out. That knuckle trick really does take the guesswork out of it, and it's crazy how such a small change can make a meal feel like a win. Good on you for keeping at it instead of tossing the pot.
