Waiting forever for lab results on my dig finds

I sent samples from our latest excavation for analysis weeks ago. Still no word from the lab. We uncovered some bone fragments that might be from a rare species. Without the tests, we can't say for sure. Every day I check my inbox, nothing. It's frustrating because the field season is almost over. I wish there was a faster way to get this done.

What's the big rush anyway, are the bones on a deadline? It's not like they're going anywhere after sitting in the ground for a thousand years.

Honestly lilyross, I used to feel the same way until I saw how much these sites get damaged over time. We really are racing against the clock before they're gone for good.
