Trowel hit a sewer line at a dig off Route 9 in Jersey and I had to call it
We were 4 feet down on what looked like a perfect 1800s trash pit and the blade scraped right into a clay pipe still hooked to the neighborhood. I flagged the trench, marked the spot, and called the county before anyone took another scoop, and now the whole block is fenced off. Has anyone else had a dig killed by modern utilities?
