Serious question, did a long dig story change how you handle waiting?

I read about an archaeological site in Greece where they slowly uncovered a theater over thirty years. In my experience, we get upset if a package is late. This made me see that some work just cannot be rushed. Your mileage may vary, but it gave me new respect for slow, careful jobs. Take this with a grain of salt, but it helped me chill out about my own delayed plans.

Yeah but honestly, most stuff that gets delayed for me isn't some noble project. It's just bad planning or a messed up delivery. Hard to feel inspired by that.

Like miller.henry said, delayed plans just make space for other things.

Wait, but that's kinda missing the point. Even a messed up delivery can teach you something about PATIENCE if you let it. I once had a package lost for weeks, and it forced me to realize how glued I am to expecting things NOW. The dig story isn't just about big projects, it's about applying that slow mindset to everyday annoyances.
