Honestly, seeing the 3D scans of the collapsed tunnel at Teotihuacan made me think we're way too quick to call things 'ritual spaces'.

Ngl, after working on a dig in Oaxaca for 6 months, I'm convinced we label any weird underground feature as ceremonial just because we can't immediately see a practical use for it, so has anyone else worked on a site where the 'obvious' interpretation just felt wrong?

Wait, isn't the cart before the horse thing more about doing steps out of order though @holly_green82? I always figured it meant you were rushing the final goal before laying the groundwork.
