Wrote off rigging rings for years, then a climber in Boise said one thing that stuck
He told me he'd run the same set of rings on 40+ removals without a single failure and asked why I trusted a spliced eye more than a machined steel one, and I didn't have a real answer, so now my block is sitting in the truck and the rings are on my lanyard. Anyone here switched and regretted it?
