Had to decide between a gas chipper and an electric one for my small crew in Portland

I run a two-man operation here in Portland, and last month my old gas chipper finally died on a big job. I spent a week going back and forth between a new gas model and a heavy duty electric chipper, mostly because of the noise rules in some neighborhoods here. I ended up going with the electric one from a local shop, and it is quieter for sure but the battery only lasts about 3 hours on a full charge. Has anyone else made this swap and found a good way to handle longer days without stopping to recharge?

Yeah exactly, just grab a couple extra batteries and you're set for a full day easy.

Honestly that doesn't sound like that big of a deal. Just bring a second battery or two and swap em out during lunch, problem solved. Isn't that pretty standard for electric gear anyway?
