Can we talk about moving from contract climbing to a full-time crew position?

I've been doing contract climbing jobs for a few seasons now. The pay is good but the work is inconsistent. Should I look for a steady crew job or stick with freelancing?

My buddy jamie130 tried the 9-to-5 thing for a year at a dealership. He said the worst part was asking for a Tuesday off to go fishing.

Feel the exact same way lol. Tried a full-time spot one season and went nuts staring at the same yard every day. The summer drought months were brutal on the paycheck, but man, having October through December free for those big storm jobs was worth it.
