Stopped counting at 12 fridge compressor swaps in one day last Tuesday
lol I hit 12 compressor swaps in a single day last Tuesday and I still can't believe it. Took me from 7am to 9pm and my back is still screaming. Anybody else have a crazy count like that?

Yeah 12 is wild but it's like everything in this trade, once you've done it a few times you start seeing shortcuts everywhere. Honestly that prep tip is gold, it's the same with anything from wrenching on cars to cooking dinner - the setup is what makes or breaks the whole thing.

12 compressors in a day is brutal, I've been there. My record is 14 during a heatwave and I learned the hard way to prep everything the night before. Get yourself one of those cordless impacts with a 90 degree adapter, it saves your wrists big time. Also, put your filters and driers on a separate line so you can swap them in a tight spot without fighting the whole unit. Your lower back will thank you if you invest in a good knee pad and use a cart for the heavy swaps.
