Old tech at a laundrymat set me straight on dryer vent cleaning

He said I was wasting time with those brush kits and told me to just use a leaf blower. Tried it on a tricky 20 foot run last Thursday and cleared out twice the lint in half the time. Anyone else ditch the brushes for this method?

That "waste of time" line hits home. A buddy of mine was fighting with a brush kit on his dryer for like three hours. Sweating, cussing, the whole deal. He finally gave up and grabbed his neighbor's leaf blower. Took him maybe ten minutes total. Said the lint flew out in this huge cloud. He was mad he didn't try it sooner. So yeah, I think he ditched the brushes forever.

Wait, the leaf blower actually worked that fast? @the_olivia, three hours of torture with a brush set and then ten minutes with some air and it was done. That's insane, your buddy must have felt so stupid but also so relieved.
